Here's my favorite senior picture (the one where my hair's all a mess!). I love to be out in nature and this picture just seemed to say it all.

I am 17 years old and I am currently living in Wentworth South Dakota. I am attending Madison High School this year for the first time and I am going into it as a senior. I was born in Virginia Beach, Virginia on April 22, 1982. I have also lived in many other places besides Virginia, including: Rapid City, South Dakota; Denver, Colorado; Sioux Falls, South Dakota; and Lake Madison (Wentworth), South Dakota. Growing up, my family loved to travel and in effect I have developed a taste for traveling myself. I am 5'5", 160 pounds, blonde hair, and have blue eyes. I have a 20 year old brother who is a sophomore mechanical engineer this year at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. (You can visit his site through the link provided below). Next year I hope to attend either Dakota State University in Madison, South Dakota, or St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota. I want to major in elementary education or psychology and minor in early childhood and family studies. One day, (hopefully!) I'll have my own classroom or my own couseling practice.

My Interests
|
Probobly the the one thing that I like to do most in the world it to just hang with those of whom I care about. Just sitting around with my friends on a Saturday afternoon and killing time, or spending a day with my family are probobly the two most important things in my world, next to God that is.
God plays an important role in my life-perhapse the most important. Through God, I do my healing and through Him I learned to love.
I also love to bowl. I started bowling on a league when I was six years old. I continued bowling on a league until I was fifteen years old. At that point, my life became too hectic to spend any time on bowling. My last average that I remember having was a 163 and my highest game ever was a 225.
Sports also play an important role in my life. My favorite sport is football. I love to watch it and I love to play it with my friends. Volleyball is another favorite sport of mine. Going to the park with my friends and playing some sand volleball...now there's a good time! Unfortunately my asthma keeps me from playing any of these sports on a team level.
Some of the more 'domestic' things in my life that I like to do are: cooking; curling up by a fire and reading a book; camping; mentoring young children; and volunteering. I guess that you could say that I'm old fashioned in my ways, and by no means am I a feminist. I'm one of the few women left in this world that actually looks forward to being a housewife and raising children.
Music; oh how I love music! I live to listen to any and all forms of music including everything except for hard-core rap and hard-core rock; most of which can't even be considered music. I am one of those rare females that has put hundreds into her sound system in her car. Yes, I have a subwoofer in my car (my '98 Chevrolet Tracker). Unfortuantely, it is only a little eety beety six inch sub!(pathetic I know!) One day, when I get my pickup truck, I'll upgrade my six inch sub to two tens or a twelve...someday.
